Alpine Esports Rebrands to Alpine Sim Racing w/ G2 Esports

Following the conclusion of the 2023/2024 F1 Sim Racing World Championship, Alpine Esports has announced a rebranding to Alpine Sim Racing. This move signifies the team's ambition to broaden its competitive scope, stepping into various Sim Racing titles beyond F1. In a strategic move, Alpine Sim Racing has partnered with G2 Esports to strengthen its position in the Sim Racing community. This collaboration aims to rebuild and enhance the team鈥檚 infrastructure, focusing on performance and development. The partnership will see an upgraded Academy/Development program and a robust engineering team to support the drivers. Additionally, Alpine will integrate its Race(H)er program into Sim Racing to promote female representation at the highest levels of the sport.

David Gendry, Alpine Sponsorship, Partnerships and Communications Director, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership: "This collaboration is set to boost Alpine Sim Racing鈥檚 performance and competitiveness, leveraging G2鈥檚 expertise and Alpine鈥檚 dedication to excellence."

Daniel Ritchie, Global Director of Sponsorship Acquisition at Alpine, shared his excitement: "The rebranding of Alpine Sim Racing and our collaboration with G2 mark a new chapter. With a unified focus, we aim to progress consistently and elevate Alpine Sim Racing into championship contention in the coming years."

Alban Dechelotte, CEO of G2 Esports, highlighted the synergy between the two entities: "G2 Esports is committed to competitive excellence, and we see those values reflected in Alpine. This partnership is a pivotal moment for us as we believe in the future of Sim Racing. Alpine鈥檚 passion and technological prowess will help us achieve our goals and bring home more trophies."

Nathan Tague, Head of Sim Racing at G2 Esports, echoed these sentiments: "We are thrilled to partner with Alpine F1. Both brands share a forward-thinking and ambitious mindset. Sim Racing connects esports fans with motorsport and car culture, areas where Alpine excels. We are eager to elevate racing, both digitally and in the real world, and look forward to achieving great success with Alpine."
