The AMS Nissan Z, while in Chicago, initially ran a 10.15 @ 134 MPH in the 1/4 mile, and they were getting close to that 9 second pass. They had some challenges with a headwind at more than 20 MPH, but they finally clinched a 9.92 @ 137 MPH pass! This makes it the first new Z to break the 9 second 1/4 mile barrier, all while still utilizing the stock engine and transmission!
