Reiger Suspension has introduced its new aftermarket Performance suspension lineup, bringing technology developed through the company’s Dakar Rally program to off-road vehicles and SUVs.

The initial lineup includes the SP-RC 3.0, a four-way adjustable off-road damper based on KW automotive’s Solid Piston design, and the MT-RC 2.5, a three-way adjustable monotube damper derived from Reiger’s Dakar Rally program. Depending on the application, both systems allow a ride-height increase of up to 60 mm.

The SP-RC 3.0 features separate adjustment for low-speed compression, high-speed compression, low-speed rebound, and high-speed rebound. Hydraulic compression and rebound bump stops are integrated, along with non-adjustable blow-off valves. Unlike many off-road dampers, the SP-RC 3.0 uses an internal reservoir rather than an external canister.

Initial applications for the SP-RC 3.0 include the Ford Ranger, Isuzu D-Max, and Toyota Hilux.

The MT-RC 2.5 uses upside-down monotube dampers manufactured from high-strength steel alloy and features adjustable low-speed rebound along with separately adjustable high- and low-speed compression. Current applications include the Ford Ranger, Jeep Wrangler JL, Toyota Hilux, Toyota Land Cruiser 70 Series, Toyota Land Cruiser 250, Toyota Land Cruiser 300, and Volkswagen Amarok.

According to Reiger, both suspension systems incorporate components developed through its Dakar Rally motorsport program, including seals, piston rods, guide bushings, valves, hydraulic bump stops, and mounting hardware.

The Reiger Performance suspension range is available through KW automotive and its global partners.
